Meet Casey
Casey Michael Schallenberg is an author who loves Jesus, his family, and encouraging others. Born thirteen weeks premature at just two pounds and diagnosed with cerebral palsy, his life has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and gratitude. Though doctors were uncertain whether he would ever walk or talk, Casey began speaking at age two and took his first steps at nine.
Inspired by his own experiences, Casey wrote The Geode Kid to help children recognize the God-given worth and hidden treasures within themselves and others. Through his writing, he hopes to encourage kindness, strengthen faith, and remind readers that every life has value and purpose.
